Longview to Waimea Canyon
Oh My God! If there is one thing you have got to have on the list if you should ever go to Kauai Hawaii is to drive to the Waimea Canyon. We are staying in Poipu and it is about a half hour drive to the bottom of the hill that takes you up to the top of the canyon. The drive is beautiful, with twisty curvy roads that go forever. There are four lookouts starting half way up. Truly words are not enough to discribe this wonder. It is a canyon that rivals the Grand Canyon and out does it in beauty. This is a part of earth that has not been touched by man. There are turnouts on this road that you can stop at and look out and over this canyon. We are talking 3500 feet straight down into time. You truly walk away being blown away.
